The Wantage Pilates Studio is the most established Pilates studio in Wantage and surrounding area.
Our team of exercise professionals have over 30 years of teaching experience.
Since 2011 we have been delivering excellent value to our customers. We have received several business awards for our customer service and expertise. 
Many local pilates teachers have worked in our studio and we are proud to have offered them the opportunity to develop their own careers. 
In 2016 we have expanded our services to a wider range of health and wellbeing packages - The Core Benefit.

It is not a diet. It is not a lengthy workout session. It is not about setting the bar so high you set yourself up to fail. 
Benefits include restoring core function, pelvic floor [leaking], healthier eating patterns, helping you make time for walking and cooking up healthy meals, with Accountability Sunday and Action Monday.

Hi, we are friendly team of experienced Pilates instructors and other wellbeing professionals led by our founder, Julia Trinder. Julia is a mother of two. Wife, businesswoman, Pilates instructor, friend and cheerleader for people to want to feel good about themselves, whatever their lifestyle, however they look or think they ought to look! What we do

We offer a range of services – starting with our very well established and award winning Pilates sessions. We also offer barre and movement therapy classes, relaxation and Core Restore and Pelvic Health Packages.
The Core Benefit is a MuTu® inspired exercise package and lifestyle of core restoring exercises [diastasis recti and pelvic floor], healthy balanced eating, short easy to do sessions, and an encouragement to live a healthy outlook. Why us?

The Wantage Pilates Studio is renowned for its expertise, care and ability to manage and help a diverse range of people of all ages and ability. We are not a keep fit gym. We are the destination studio for participating in Pilates exercise, movement therapy to improve your alignment, wellbeing and general appearance. The Core Benefit is about educating post natal and post menopausal women, to understand their pelvic floor and core health as a basis of wider function and fitness. We keep your goals simple, the bar low, this is important so you don’t end up overwhelmed.

We are here to help, listen, nurture, guide you through an agreed process to change your disillusionment of how motherhood and mummy bodies are supposed to look. Pilates exercise, matwork, small equipment and apparatus. In his book Return to Life through Contrology, Joseph Pilates presents this method as the art of controlled movements, which should look and feel like a workout (not a therapy) when properly manifested. Julia was the first person in the United Kingdom to qualify as a Women’s Wellness Specialist. The qualification combines the following pilates related subjects: pre-post natal specialist, Pink Ribbon Programe, pilates applications for pelvic for health and disfunction, healing exercises for diastasis recti and c.cection, pilates for menopause – mat+equipement, pilates for buff bones – osteoporosis indept training. 


Buff Bones – licensed instructor – pilates for Buff Bones is a medically endorsed workout that combines pilates with bone strengthening and balance techniques to optimise the health and safety of your bones. The workout follows a research supported design of specifically sequenced exercises, making it an entire system of bone and joint health, rather than just a set of exercises. Toning your arms, hips, back and abs, it also improves posture, is adaptable to varying levels and is even safe for those with osteoporosis. 


Pink Ribbon Programe – the Pink Ribbon Programe has been created to enhance recovery for breast cancer patients. The program helps stretch and strengthen shoulder, chest and back allowing the patient to improve range of motion and strength to those areas most affected by breast cancer surgery, treatment and reconstruction.


Body Image Movement Global Ambassador – to redefine and re-write the ideals of beauty. BIM is an internationally recognised crusade that recognises the importance of body diversity by encouraging people to be more accepting of who they are, to use positive language regarding their bodies and others, and to prioritise health before beauty. Our role is to reach as many people as possible around the world and speak to them about how we can learn to fully embrace and love our bodies.
